European farewell

Skynyrd

The Lynyrd Skynyrd juggernaut wings its way to Europe next June for a string of farewell concerts in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland, before arriving in the UK. It’s the end of the road, time to hang up the guitars for good.

The band’s ‘Last Of The Street Survivors Farewell Tour’ kicked off in May in the US and Canada. The shows thus far have garnered rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Blackberry Smoke will be riding shotgun with Skynyrd on mainland Europe dates and, on these shores, the Jacksonville boys will be joined by Status Quo.

The band will perform at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena, the Manchester Arena, London’s Wembley Arena and the Genting Arena, Birmingham, from June 26 until June 30.

In the coming months this blog will celebrate the band’s legacy with a look back at past tours undertaken in Europe.
